File a claim with your insurance carrier
- Immediately notify your insurance agent/company of the disaster/property damage and file a claim.
- Document all damage with photos or videos before making any repairs.
- Ask your insurance agent/company when they will evaluate the damage to your home according to your homeowner’s and/or flood policy.
- Ask your insurance agent/company when an insurance adjustor will inspect your property and when you can expect any claim checks to be processed.
- Find a contractor to make needed repairs. Be sure to get multiple quotes, recommendations from others and a signed agreement before any work takes place.

- We will provide important details on how to process your insurance claim check. Email insurance loss claim documents, such as the insurance adjustor’s report, contractor’s report, copy of the claim check, etc., directly to Trustmark at mtginsuranceloss@Trustsaxmortgagemort.com to help expedite the process.
